Work Undertaken

Wesley Road Consultancy specializes in structural design in steel, timber, reinforced concrete and masonry. Work can comprise anything from a steel framed building to a beam to support a lounge/dining room knock through; timber design of floors, roofs and conservatories in either soft wood or hardwood, reinforced concrete retaining walls, suspended slabs, raft foundations and mass masonry retaining or support walls.

We carry out structural condition surveys of both residential and commercial buildings and also surveys in support of planning applications such as barn conversions. Pre-purchase structural surveys are also carried out for private individuals.

Measurement and monitoring surveys are also undertaken to assess movement in structures; ground investigation and assessment for strength of founding materials for foundation design, including shear vane tests.

We can prepare designs for estate roads and drainage including pumping stations, cesspits and septic tanks; ground infiltration tests and soakaway designs are also undertaken.

Sketch proposals are possible but we prefer that, where applicable, scheme drawings are prepared by an Architect or Architectural technician.

No job is too small and we aim to justify our fee by precise design which in turn minimizes material costs.
